Hinduja Foundation Appoints Raman Kalyanakrishnan as CEO to Lead Strategic Philanthropy Initiatives

Mumbai, August 12, 2025: Hinduja Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Hinduja Group, has appointed Raman Kalyanakrishnan as its Chief Executive Officer to steer the next phase of its social impact work. With more than three decades of experience, including 21 years in the corporate sector and nine years in philanthropy, Kalyanakrishnan brings expertise in strategy, business development, marketing, and program implementation.

In his new role, he will lead the Foundation’s strategic initiatives across healthcare, water stewardship, rural development, education, and sustainability, with a focus on expanding impact and strengthening community engagement.

Hinduja, Chairman, Hinduja Foundation. “Raman’s experience in both the corporate and development sectors, along with his deep understanding of program strategy and execution, will be instrumental as we expand the scope and scale of our philanthropic initiatives. Prior to joining Hinduja Foundation, Kalyanakrishnan was associated with Tata Trusts, where he contributed to multiple strategic initiatives. His earlier leadership roles include positions at Tata Strategic Management Group, Bharti Airtel, Mattel Toys, and Arvind Fashions. He holds a postgraduate diploma in management from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy.

Established in Mumbai in 1968, the Hinduja Foundation is a public charitable trust driven by the philanthropic vision of Hinduja Group Founder Shri Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja.
