xAs COVID presented huge challenges for Corporates and NGOs/implementation agencies, the Corporate Social Responsibility has emerged much stronger out of this crisis by contributing big time to changing social needs. The spirit with which India’s CSR community reached out to affected people is exemplary! This was the time when the quick relief measures and extraordinary efforts exhibited by corporates went beyond CSR policy expectations.
The innovative ways of project execution by NGOs and other implementation agencies have not only strengthened the belief in effectiveness of CSR in India, the wide-ranging impact of such short-term projects also cemented the widening scope of CSR in the country.
During this period, TheCSRUniverse Team continued speaking to CSR leaders who shared thoughts and insights on their approach to take the COVID challenges head-on with their CSR policies.
