The annual conference is aimed at bringing CSR thought leaders, social sector experts and policy enablers together on one platform to discuss and deliberate on key challenges and opportunities in solving most pressing social issues.
The insights from leaders and outcome of the various panel discussions will be published as a coffee table book in the larger interest of the social sector stakeholders. Also, based on the dialogues at the conference and suggestions towards making CSR policies more conducive for implementation and impact creation at ground level, a recommendation paper with policy-level suggestions will be presented to Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government Of India (GOI).

Dr. Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi is Professor at IIT Kanpur and former Director of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee.
Dr Chaturvedi has spent about two decades at IIT Kanpur where he also held the positions of Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Dean of Research & Development and Deputy Director. He has also served the Department of Electronics Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi from 1994 to 1996.
Dr. Chaturvedi received the B.Tech., M.Tech., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 1986, 1988, and 1995, respectively.
Dr Chaturvedi was the Coordinator of the BSNL-IITK Telecom Centre of Excellence which has done a large number of projects for the Indian telecom sector. He is a recipient of the Distinguished Teacher award of IIT Kanpur and Tan Chin Tuan Fellowship of Nanyang Technical University, Singapore.

Dr. Anil Rana is the director at MIT, Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
Dr Rana has over 30 years of experience in the Industry and Academics. Prior to his academic service he served as a Commander in the engineering branch of the Indian Navy in various roles. He has a PhD in Reliability Engineering from IIT Mumbai and M tech from IIT (Delhi).
Post his naval service he served as Associate Dean (Research) and Professor (Mechanical Engineering) in Fiji National University in Fiji Islands for five years followed by Dean(Academics) and Professor in Symbiosis Skills and Open University, Pune. He was the Dean, Faculty of Manufacturing Skills and Dean (Academics)in BSDU, Jaipur before taking over as Vice Chancellor of Oriental University Indore in February 2021.

Mr Atul Khosla is the Vice Chancellor at Shoolini University. He drives new initiatives at Shoolini – initiating partnerships with industry and top global universities, starting new innovative academic programmes, transforming a traditional system to new methodologies of pedagogy, initiating a skills-based curriculum and building one of India’s most dynamic and cutting-edge education technology platforms.

Dr Faizan Mustafa is a senior law teacher and renowned jurist of constitutional law. After two terms as the Vice Chancellor of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, he is currently teaching at Aligarh Muslim University.
Known for his institution building abilities and democratic leadership, Dr Mustafa is also the Founder Vice-Chancellor of National Law University, Orissa and the Founder Director of KIIT Law School, Bhubaneshwar. The recipient of SAARC’s Best Law Teacher Award in 2014, Dr Mustafa is the visiting faculty to several reputed institutions in India and abroad.
Dr. Mustafa has written eight books and contributed more than 250 articles. Supreme Court of India has also quoted him number of times. He was also one of the contributors to famous Encyclopaedia of Legal History published by the Oxford University Press, United States of America. Dr Kamal Kishore Pant took over as the Director of the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee on in the year 2022. .
He previously held the positions of Petrotech Chair and Federation of Indian Petroleum Industries (FIPI) Chair Professor, Chairman GATE & JAM, Chairman, Library, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, and Dean Faculty at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. The leitmotif of her career has been to bring positive change in the children’s space. Leading editorial functions in children’s publishing at Penguin Random House and HarperCollins India in the past, she has been fostering learning among young minds for over a decade.
Mr Nixon Joseph is Ex-President & Chief Operating Officer of SBI Foundation, the CSR arm of India’s top Public Sector Bank of State Bank of India (SBI). In his leadership role at SBI Foundation, Mr Joseph supported strong impact projects to help the underprivileged and needy. He is currently working as CEO of CLT India ( Children’s Lovecastles Trust), a 25 year old NGO in the ed-tech sector.
As President of SBI Foundation took initiative in supporting various sports related CSR projects especially for encouraging sports at grass root level and making available modern high tech training programs to the needy.
As Coordinator of SBI Youth for India fellowship program, he was instrumental in inspiring and mentoring 100 youths every year, and has taken the fellowship to a higher level. He has been mentoring many social entrepreneur units started by SBI Youth for India fellows.
He is the recipient of Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam award 2018 for excellence in public service and Dr Kalam Memorial Ignited Minds award.

Dr. Himanshu Rai is the Director of IIM Indore. Prior to this, he was a Professor at IIM Lucknow where he taught from 2006 to 2014 and then again joined back on 1 September 2016. Before this, he was the Dean of MISB Bocconi and Professor at SDA Bocconi, Milan, Italy from 2014 to 2016. Earlier, he had a stint of a little over a year at XLRI Jamshedpur.
Dr Rai obtained his doctorate from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad, making seminal contributions in the area of Conflict Resolution & Negotiation.
Before joining his academic career, he worked with Tata Steel for over 8 years, where he played a pivotal role in developing Quality Systems for his Departments & Communication Policy for the Company.

Dr. Umakant Dash is the Director of the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA). Prior to joining IRMA, he was Professor & Head of the Department of H&SS, IIT Madras and Adjunct Professor, IIM Tiruchirappalli.
He holds a DHS in Health System Management from Tulane University, USA, and a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the IIT Kanpur. He has nearly two decades of experience in academia and research with institutes of national and international repute like IIT Madras, Utara University of Malaysia, and BITS, Pilani in areas such as Macro Economics, Financial Economics, Health Economics, Financial Management, etc. He pursues questions of equity, efficiency, and risk protection in the Indian Health System through his research projects, funded by organizations like DFID, Rockefeller Foundation, WHO, and Access Health International.

Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari is currently the Vice Chancellor of Central University of Punjab, Bathinda. Prof. Tiwari obtained PG degree in Applied Geology from Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar M.P. (Presently a Central University, where he served as the Vice-Chancellor for five and a half years), and Ph D degree in Palaeontology from Gauhati University. He was a Member of the University Grants Commission and the Executive Council of NAAC, Bangalore.
He also served in Mizoram University for 32 years including as the Head, Department of Geology for two terms, Dean of School of Studies for 13 years. Prof. Tiwari has headed/heading several committee of UGC, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India concerning higher education.
His research contributions are widely cited and published in nearly 100 research papers in national and international journals. He has been in the editorial board of four national and international journals, and reviewer of five research journals.

Dr Ram Kumar Kakani is the Director of IIM, Raipur. Previously, he has taught at the IIM Kozhikode. Dr Kakani started as a technocrat in the corporate sector and moved towards the academic world, focusing on Finance-Performance-Strategy. Earlier, Ram was faculty at XLRI Jamshedpur and LBSNAA Mussoorie. He has also worked as an academic in Denmark, Nigeria, Singapore, and UAE.
Lately, Ram has moved towards the Leadership domain to explore socially impactful initiatives aimed at Public Administration, including holding a Director position of a registered society, Government of India’s National Centre for Leadership Development & Competency Assessment (NCLDCA). Prof. (Dr.) S. Shanthakumar is the Director, Gujarat National Law University with close to three decades of teaching experience at prestigious universities including Hidayatullah National Law University.
He is an alumnus of Madras University, Chennai, where he earned his graduation, post-graduation and doctorate degree in law. Before joining the legal academia, he had practiced at the Madras High Court for seven years.
His areas of specialization are Environmental Law, Human Rights Law, International Law and Constitutional Law. He has published a number of research articles on contemporary legal issues in various national and international journals and edited volumes.

Before joining MGCU, Motihari, as its Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sanjay Srivastava was Professor at Political Science department of Banaras Hindu University. He taught international relations and his research interests include India’s foreign policy, conflict resolution and peace, and Indian politics. He also took part in curriculum development, research supervision and administrative activities of the university.
Prof. Srivastava was a Fulbright Visiting scholar at the School of Communication, American University, Washington D.C (during 2016-17). In 2018, hon’ble President of India nominated Prof. Srivastava on the BHU Court (the highest advisory body of the Banaras Hindu University, 2018-21).
Prof. Srivastava was awarded UGC’s Career Award (Research Award) (2004) given to the meritorious teachers. He was Salzburg Seminar Fellow (2005) and has participated in several national and international conferences.

Dr Sanjeev Bansal is the Dean at Faculty of Management Studies; and Director at Amity Business School. With more than 3 decades of experience in academia and administration, Dr Bansal, has authored 36 books and 204 research papers. He has also guided 24 scholars for Ph.D.
His teaching interests lies in Decision Sciences and Spirituality Management. Dr Bansal is widely travelled to Academic Institutions including Wharton Business School, Harvard Business School, University of Pennsylvania etc.

Prior to joining Adamas University as its Vice-Chancellor, Dr Suranjan Das was the Vice-Chancellor of Jadavpur University.
He was earlier Professor of History at the University of Calcutta and served the same University as its Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) from 14 March 2002 to 01 May 2008 and Vice-Chancellor for the period between 02 May 2008 and 14 July 2015. Professor Das is also Honorary Visiting Professor at the University of Exeter, UK. He is presently the President of the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, the Hony Director, Netaji Institute For Asian Studies, Kolkata, and Chairman, Board of Governors, Centre For Studies In Social Sciences, Kolkata.
Dr Das specialises in South Asian History and Politics, especially identity politics, socio-cultural transformation and nation-building. He has been involved with a number of prestigious international research projects, the two recent ones being a collaborative research project with Exeter University on `Decolonizing the Curricula’ under the auspices of the British Council’s Going Global Partnership Scheme, and the other on the impact of the Covid pandemic on the female school children of India under the auspices of the Anglia Ruskin University.
He has also served in policy formulation bodies concerned with higher education in India like the University Grants Commission, and Indian Council of Historical Research.
