About the Roundtable
India's NIPUN Bharat mission targets universal foundational literacy and numeracy by Grade 3, yet last-mile implementation gaps persist across states. This roundtable convenes senior CSR decision-makers and FLN implementation partners to move past theoretical commitment into concrete, co-fundable action. Anchored in evidence from ASER, NAS, and state SIG (State Implementation Group) data, the session will surface replicable delivery models, de-risked investment structures, and blended partnership frameworks — including with SCERTs, DIETs, and Samagra Shiksha — that CSR capital can scale immediately. Participants leave with a shortlist of investment-ready opportunities, not a summary of the discussion.

From your experience, what remains the biggest barrier to achieving universal FLN — teacher capacity, language, assessments, community engagement, or something else — and why has it been so difficult to address?
Many FLN interventions deliver promising results in pilots but struggle to sustain impact at scale. What, in your view, are the essential ingredients of a scalable and sustainable FLN programme?
Teachers, parents, communities, governments and implementation partners all have a role to play in improving learning outcomes. What does an effective support ecosystem for FLN look like, and where can collaboration make the biggest difference?
As CSR increasingly focuses on measurable impact, what should funders look for in an effective FLN programme, and where should they focus their investments to create meaningful and lasting change?
