1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file that a website saves in your browser. It helps the site remember things, like that you are signed in, or which choice you made on a notice.
2. The cookies we use
| Type | What it does | Do you need to accept? |
|---|---|---|
| Needed to work | Keeps you signed in, protects forms from misuse, and remembers your cookie choice. | No. The site cannot work without them. |
| Statistics | Google Analytics tells us which pages are read, so we can improve the site. It does not tell us who you are. | Yes. Only switched on if you accept. |
| Advertising | Google Ads and AdSense show ads and measure whether they work. If you do not accept, ads may still appear but will not be personalised to you. | Yes. Only switched on if you accept. |
| Videos and payments | YouTube videos on some pages and Razorpay on payment pages may set their own cookies when you use them. | They start only when you play a video or open a payment page. |
3. Your choice
When you first visit, a small notice asks if you accept statistics and advertising cookies. You can say No thanks and still use every part of the site.
You can change your mind at any time:
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may then stop working, for example staying signed in.
