Nabila Kidwai Appointed Head – CSR & Sustainability at Linde India

Nabila Kidwai

New Delhi: Linde India has appointed Nabila Kidwai as Head – CSR & Sustainability, in addition to her role as General Manager. In the new mandate, Kidwai will lead the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability efforts, with a focus on strengthening social impact programmes, advancing ESG priorities and deepening stakeholder engagement across India.

The appointment comes as companies increasingly look beyond conventional CSR programmes towards integrated approaches that connect sustainability, community development and responsible business practices.

Over a Decade of Experience Across CSR, ESG and Sustainability

Nabila Kidwai brings more than 12 years of professional experience across Corporate Social Responsibility, sustainability, ESG and programme operations. Her career has included roles with Cargill, Bosch India Foundation and Schneider Electric, where she contributed to the design and implementation of strategic CSR programmes and worked with diverse stakeholders across the development ecosystem.

Her experience spans CSR strategy, programme operations, ESG partnerships and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on creating social initiatives that can deliver meaningful and measurable outcomes. Her work across corporate and foundation-led environments has given her exposure to different approaches to social impact, from programme implementation and partnerships to sustainability-led initiatives.

At Linde India, Kidwai will be responsible for helping shape the company’s CSR and sustainability priorities while strengthening engagement with communities, partners and other stakeholders.

Academic Foundation in Social Work

Kidwai’s professional journey is supported by a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), one of India’s leading institutions for social sciences and development studies.

Her academic background in social work, combined with more than a decade of corporate CSR and sustainability experience, provides a strong foundation for working at the intersection of business, communities and sustainable development.

As she takes on the expanded responsibility at Linde India, Kidwai is expected to bring her experience in programme operations, strategic partnerships and ESG engagement to the company’s social impact agenda. Her appointment also reflects the growing importance of professionals who can connect corporate sustainability goals with community needs and measurable development outcomes.
