Telangana, August 19, 2026: Exicom Tele-Systems Limited has started manufacturing liquid-cooled AC and DC power modules for EV chargers at its Hyderabad Smart Manufacturing Facility, positioning the company as the first in India to manufacture this class of liquid-cooled power electronics for global markets.
The development expands Exicom’s EV charging product portfolio and is aimed initially at international markets. The company said the modules will primarily support Tritium’s DC charger portfolio in North America and Europe, including TRI-FLEX™ ultra-fast DC chargers and DC-FLEX™ charging systems.
Liquid cooling is designed to manage the heat generated by high-power EV charging more effectively than conventional air-cooling systems. According to Exicom, liquid-cooled systems can maintain internal temperatures at roughly 10°C lower than air-cooled systems, while their sealed design helps protect components from dust, moisture and salt air.

The company said the technology builds on Tritium’s in-house liquid-cooled capabilities and is being manufactured in India through the integration of Exicom’s manufacturing operations with Tritium’s technology. Over subsequent phases, the modules are expected to support Exicom’s customers in India, including charge point operators, fleets and OEMs. The company also plans to incorporate liquid-cooled architecture into its Harmony DC chargers.
Anant Nahata, CEO and Managing Director, Exicom, said, "Anyone who has stood next to a fast charger on a 45-degree afternoon knows what heat does to electronics. EV Charging is getting faster with chargers running more hours a day, and customers expect them to work every season and at every site. Globally, liquid cooling has become the architecture of choice for high-power charging. We are bringing this technology to India. Local manufacturing matters because we now own more of that technology ourselves. We can engineer it, improve it and adapt it faster, for our customers here and across the world.”
Manufacturing of the modules will be carried out at Exicom’s recently inaugurated Hyderabad facility, which incorporates automation, digital traceability and specialised testing systems. The company said the facility will support production for both domestic and international markets, with the new capability also expected to strengthen India’s role in the EV charging power-electronics supply chain.
