Pune, September 16, 2025: Blue Energy Motors (BEM), India’s clean mobility platform, has announced the appointment of Anand Mimani as Chief Executive Officer of its EV & New Energy Business, a dedicated vertical within the company’s clean freight ecosystem.
The appointment comes as BEM accelerates its expansion in electric heavy-duty vehicles, energy-as-a-service platforms, and green corridor infrastructure. In his new role, Mimani will lead the division’s business strategy, operations, product rollout, and partner ecosystem, reporting directly to Anirudh Bhuwalka, Founder & Managing Director of Blue Energy Motors.

Blue Energy Motors is the first clean freight platform in India to combine battery-electric, LNG, and energy-as-a-service solutions in one ecosystem. With EV and energy infrastructure positioned as a key pillar of its growth strategy, the company aims to ramp up electric truck deployments, scale battery swap and charging hubs across freight corridors, and deepen partnerships with energy providers, logistics firms, and OEMs.
Mimani brings 26 years of experience in mobility, energy, and clean tech. Previously, as CEO of GreenLine Mobility Solutions, he led the deployment of India’s largest fleet of LNG-powered trucks, cutting more than 10,000 tons of CO2 emissions. Under his leadership, the company earned the Logistics Leader of the Year (Sustainability) award from the Institute of Supply Chain Management.
