Mumbai, July 13, 2026: Piramal Finance, through its CSR implementation arm Piramal Foundation, reached more than 113 million people across 28 states and two Union Territories during FY2026, according to the company's latest annual report.

The company invested over ₹22.5 crore in corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives during the financial year, with programmes focused on education, healthcare, water conservation, and financial inclusion. These initiatives were implemented through four flagship platforms—Aspirational Bharat Collaborative, Digital Bharat Collaborative, Inclusive Bharat Collaborative, and Piramal School of Leadership.

In the education sector, the Foundation supported the establishment of more than 5,000 demonstration schools across 15 states, contributing to a 20% improvement in student learning outcomes in mathematics and language. Its Panchayat for Education programme reached 3.13 lakh students, while 39,766 education leaders were trained. The Foundation also strengthened 900 demonstration Anganwadi Centres to support early childhood education.

In healthcare, Piramal Foundation operated 131 Mobile Medical Units and 36 static clinics across 16 states, serving nearly 8,000 beneficiaries each working day and recording 14.48 lakh clinic visits during FY2026. Government health helplines managed by the Foundation in Assam and Bihar collectively assisted over 6.17 lakh beneficiaries.

The Foundation's AMRIT platform, an open-source Electronic Health Records (EHR) system recognised internationally as a Digital Public Good, has generated more than 25 million health records across over 110 digitised healthcare facilities.

Under the Inclusive Bharat Collaborative, the Foundation worked across 177 districts to support tribal communities. During the year, it trained 12,210 TB Champions, oriented 1,515 Gram Panchayats on the TB-Free Village initiative, and facilitated government quality certification for five labour room facilities in Madhya Pradesh.

The Foundation also expanded its water conservation efforts by activating more than 200 Village Water and Sanitation Committees across multiple districts. In Ranchi, community-led planning under the programme helped mobilise ₹1.6 crore in government funding for water infrastructure.

The annual report further noted that over 7.4 crore individuals were reached through financial literacy initiatives delivered via digital and on-ground channels, supporting the company's broader financial inclusion objectives.

According to the report, Piramal Foundation operates with a workforce of more than 5,000 professionals and follows a system-strengthening approach focused on building the capacity of government institutions and local communities to sustain development outcomes independently.
