Gurugram, May 19, 2026: M3M Foundation, in collaboration with Jaipuri Banno, unveiled its couture showcase “Ada-E-Hind” at Times Lifestyle Week 2026 held at Grand Hyatt, Gurgaon.

Presented under the theme “Threads of India: Woven Stories, Shared Soul”, the showcase focused on promoting India’s textile traditions while creating visibility for grassroots artisans and emerging designers from rural communities.

The initiative was developed through the iMpower Academy for Skills, implemented by the National Institute of Education and Development (NIED). Under the programme, four students — Aanchal, Geeta, Nishu and Nancy — travelled across different parts of India over three months to learn traditional crafts directly from artisans and weavers.

The students visited Lucknow for Chikankari and Zardozi embroidery, Varanasi for Banarasi silk weaving, Patiala for Phulkari embroidery, Chennai and Kanchipuram for Kanjivaram silk and Kalamkari, Bhuj for Ajrakh printing and handloom traditions, Rajkot for Patola weaving and Rajasthan for hand block printing.

Mentored by Neetu Mahajan, the students translated these learnings into a collection of 33 ensembles inspired by regional textile traditions and artisan communities.

The collection was showcased on the runway by actor Neetu Chandra as lead showstopper, along with digital creators Garima Chaurasia and Nisha Yadav. The presentation also featured the student designers, Neetu Mahajan and Dr. Aishwarya Mahajan.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Payal Kanodia said, “At M3M Foundation, we believe that true empowerment begins when hidden talent is given visibility, dignity and opportunity. Ada-E-Hind is not merely a fashion showcase; it is a tribute to India’s artisans, whose hands preserve our cultural soul, and to the young creators who prove that dreams from the smallest villages can reach the grandest stages.”

According to the organisers, the initiative aimed to combine vocational training, cultural preservation and livelihood opportunities by connecting rural youth with India’s traditional craft ecosystem.
