Gurugram, April 13, 2026: Athletes supported by M3M Foundation under its Lakshya Sports Program delivered a strong performance at the Kettlebell Sport Haryana State Championship 2026, securing a total of 30 medals across categories.
Held at The Shriram Millennium School, Gurugram, the championship brought together participants from across the state under the aegis of the Kettlebell Sport Haryana Association and Kettlebell Sport India Association. The competition featured Sub-Junior, Junior, Senior, and Veteran categories.
A total of 20 athletes from M3M Foundation’s iMpower Club participated in the event, winning 18 gold, 9 silver, and 3 bronze medals. The achievement highlights the role of structured training and access to sporting opportunities in developing talent among underserved communities.
The event also marked a milestone with the participation of Haryana’s first para kettlebell athlete from the iMpower Club, reflecting efforts to promote inclusivity in grassroots sports.
Several young athletes, including Rohit, Rajnish, Sajid, and Resham, demonstrated notable performances, with some completing over 105 kettlebell lifts in a single attempt. Many of the participants come from migrant worker families and economically vulnerable backgrounds, underscoring the impact of targeted support and mentorship.
Dr. Payal Kanodia, Chairperson & Trustee, M3M Foundation, and a two-time gold medallist at world kettlebell championships, attended the event along with her sons, Master Kian Kanodia and Master Krishiv Kanodia, encouraging the athletes and supporting grassroots sports development.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Payal Kanodia said, “Every child deserves the opportunity to discover their strength and pursue excellence, regardless of their background. Witnessing our iMpower athletes—especially children from migrant worker families and our para athlete—compete with such confidence and determination is truly inspiring. Their achievements reinforce our belief that when young talent is nurtured with the right platform, mentorship, and encouragement, they can achieve extraordinary milestones. At M3M Foundation, we remain committed to building champions both on and off the field.”
The championship also saw participation from International Union of Kettlebell Lifting (IUKL) judges, adding international recognition and exposure for the athletes.
The performance reflects M3M Foundation’s ongoing efforts to expand access to sports training and competitive platforms through its Lakshya Program, with a focus on empowering youth from underserved communities and promoting inclusive sporting development.
