Kolkata, May 18, 2026: IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, in collaboration with Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, has concluded the second bootcamp under the DICV–IIMCIP Social Impact Incubation Program for Viksit Bharat.
The three-day bootcamp brought together 10 startups for an intensive capacity-building programme aimed at strengthening entrepreneurial and business management capabilities. The initiative focused on helping emerging entrepreneurs build sustainable and scalable ventures through practical learning and mentorship.
The programme included expert-led sessions on finance and accounting for startups, leadership and team building, negotiation skills and branding strategies. Faculty members and mentors associated with the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta ecosystem conducted the sessions.
Among the speakers were Prof. Manju Jaiswal from the Finance & Control Area at IIM Calcutta, who led sessions on startup finance and accounting; Prof. Abhishek Goel from the Behavioural Sciences and Organisational Behaviour area, who conducted workshops on leadership and negotiation; and Professor Chandradeep Mitra, Visiting Faculty at IIM Calcutta and Founder & CEO of PipalMajik, who led branding sessions for startups.

The organisers said the bootcamp is part of a broader effort to strengthen the startup ecosystem by supporting founder development, innovation-led entrepreneurship and long-term business sustainability.
