New Delhi, May 29, 2026: Dalmia Bharat Foundation (DBF), the CSR arm of Dalmia Bharat Ltd., has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vision India Services Pvt. Ltd. to strengthen employment opportunities for youth trained under its flagship skilling initiative, DIKSHa (Dalmia Institute of Knowledge and Skill Harnessing).
The partnership aims to enhance industry linkages and improve access to job opportunities for candidates trained across all 35 DIKSHa skill centres operating in India.
Under the collaboration, Vision India will facilitate placement opportunities through its employment platform, JustJob, which connects skilled candidates, including ITI and diploma holders, with employers across industries. Candidates trained under DIKSHa will receive free access to the platform, which is otherwise a paid service.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Ashok Kumar Gupta, CEO, Dalmia Bharat Foundation, and Mr. Vivek Kumar, MD & CEO, Vision India Services Pvt. Ltd., in the presence of senior representatives from both organisations.
Speaking on the partnership, Mr. Ashok Kumar Gupta, CEO, Dalmia Bharat Foundation, said, “While skill development equips youth with capabilities, creating strong pathways to jobs is equally critical. The collaboration will support employer outreach, interview coordination, counselling assistance, and placement drives for candidates trained in trades such as Sewing Machine Operator, Assistant Electrician, Electrical & Home Appliances, Retail Sales Associate, Customer Relationship Management, IT-ITeS, and other emerging job roles.
The initiative will also leverage Vision India’s employer network, which includes companies such as Schneider Electric, GMR, Maruti Suzuki, and Sodexo.
DIKSHa is a placement-linked, short-term skill development programme focused on enhancing employability among youth and women. The programme currently operates 35 skill centres across 11 states and has trained more than 29,600 youth. According to the organisation, the programme has achieved a placement rate of over 75%, with women accounting for nearly 60% of beneficiaries.
The partnership is expected to further strengthen employment pathways for skilled youth while supporting livelihood creation in communities located near Dalmia Bharat’s operational areas.
