New Delhi, March 17, 2026: The National CSR Summit 2026, organised by AROH Foundation, concluded at the India International Centre, bringing together policymakers, corporate leaders, development practitioners and multilateral agencies to discuss strengthening India’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) ecosystem.
Held under the theme “Aligning for Last-Mile Impact: Community | Collaboration | Convergence”, the summit focused on enhancing partnerships and improving the effectiveness of CSR initiatives in driving inclusive development and contributing to India’s Viksit Bharat vision.
The summit was inaugurated by Shri Lumba Ram Choudhary, Member of Parliament, who highlighted the importance of corporate participation in addressing development challenges, particularly in aspirational districts and tribal regions.
Keynote speakers including Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, Arjan de Wagt, Dr. Jeevan Kumar Jethani, and Dr. Neelam Gupta shared insights on strengthening collaboration and scaling impact across sectors.
Speaking at the summit, Dr. Neelam Gupta, Founder and CEO, AROH Foundation, said, “The Summit is a platform to foster dialogue and partnerships that strengthen India’s development ecosystem. We look forward to deeper engagement and collaborative initiatives to scale impactful CSR models across the country.”
The discussions began with a panel moderated by Smt. Gayatri Subramaniam, featuring Dr. Madhukar Gupta, Former Additional Secretary, Government of India; Dr. Jeevan Kumar Jethani, Senior Director, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy; Smt. A. Srija, Economic Adviser, Ministry of Education; and Shri Bibhuti Ranjan Pradhan, Executive Director (CSR), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. The panel explored policy priorities and the evolving role of CSR in supporting national development goals.
The summit also featured participation from representatives of leading organisations including Habitat for Humanity India, PCI India, EngenderHealth, UNICEF India, Gates Foundation, Welthungerhilfe, Evidence Action, Smile Foundation, Piramal Foundation, Swades Foundation, HDFC Parivartan, Bharti Airtel Foundation, UNDP India, GIZ India, Digital Green India, The Nature Conservancy, and the World Food Programme, among others.
Speakers shared insights on innovative programmes, field-level experiences and collaborative models that are helping drive impact across sectors such as education, health, livelihoods, nutrition and climate resilience.
Partner organisations including STEM Learning, Habitat for Humanity India, PCI India, bVokal and Powergrid also contributed to the discussions, emphasising the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration in achieving sustainable development outcomes.
The summit underscored the need for convergence between government, corporates and civil society, highlighting that collaborative approaches are essential to delivering measurable impact at the grassroots level.
