Project Khushi Expands to Reach 600 Bengaluru Police Personnel

Bengaluru, September 10, 2026: Project Khushi, a health and wellness initiative for Bengaluru City Police personnel, has entered its next phase, with the programme set to cover 600 police personnel over three years.

The programme is being implemented by Happiest Health with support from Titan Company Limited and in partnership with Bangalore Indiranagar Rotary Trust (BIRT). The expansion follows a three-month pilot conducted in September 2025, which reported improvements in several health indicators among participating personnel.

According to the programme, 61% of participants recorded a reduction in blood sugar levels, 70% corrected their Vitamin B12 deficiency and 59% reduced their weight by between 0.5 kg and 6.1 kg following the intervention. Participants also reported improvements in stress management, sleep, digestion, physical activity and overall energy levels.

Mr. N. E. Sridhar, Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer, Titan Company Ltd, said, “Police personnel work tirelessly under demanding conditions to keep our communities safe. Through Project Khushi, Titan is proud to support a structured health and wellness program that focuses on preventive care, awareness and sustainable behaviour change. We are delighted to partner with Bengaluru City Police, Happiest Health and BIRT in promoting the long-term well-being of those who serve society every day.”

“While we have seen our personnel benefit from the three-month programme, the aim is for them to build long-term habits to lead healthier lives,” added Shri Seemant Kumar Singh, IPS, Bengaluru City Police Commissioner. “This is being expanded to involve more of our personnel to get structured intervention for their health that will benefit the police force.”

The first batch of the expanded programme will undertake a three-month physical and digital health and wellness programme from September 8 to December 6, 2026. It will include health assessments, expert-led interventions, health education and regular engagement focused on lifestyle changes.

Participants will receive guidance on cardiac health, weight management, diabetes, metabolic health, sleep, yoga, nutrition and mindfulness. Blood tests, BMI, hip-waist ratio, weight assessments and wellness surveys will be used to track progress, followed by a 90-day assessment and programme report.

“Our pilot project with the Bengaluru City Police has shown that if we encourage people to adopt good lifestyle practices, it helps them lead a healthier life,” said Raghu Krishnan, CEO and Chief Editor, Happiest Health Knowledge. “While there is a lot of buzz around longevity, our focus is on people leading a better healthspan.”

Gopinath Narayanan, President, Rotary Bangalore Indiranagar and Chairman, Bangalore Indiranagar Rotary Trust (BIRT), added, “Our police force are our visible and invisible heroes guarding us and protecting us to be safe in the city. Their health is of utmost importance. The initiative by Happiest Health to provide health camps and medical advice to police officials will go a long way in having a happier police force. Rotary has a theme People of Action. This project fits into that perfectly. It is an honour to be associated with Happiest Health, Bangalore City Police and Titan Company.”

The next phase was inaugurated by Shri Seemant Kumar Singh, IPS, Bengaluru City Police Commissioner, and will initially involve personnel from the Electronic City Division under M. Narayana, IPS, DCP, Electronic City.
