Hyderabad, April 06, 2026: Narayan Seva Sansthan has partnered with Yash Resources Recycling Limited, Hyderabad, under a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to provide advanced prosthetic limbs to 100 persons with disabilities, enabling improved mobility and independence.

The beneficiaries, many of whom had lost limbs due to road accidents, railway incidents, and electrical injuries, were supported through a structured rehabilitation programme at the organisation’s Hyderabad centre over the past two months. Each participant underwent detailed clinical assessments, followed by customised prosthetic fitting and guided rehabilitation under expert supervision.

The initiative aims to support long-term rehabilitation by helping individuals regain mobility and reintegrate into independent and productive lives. Beneficiaries such as Tammili Parmesh from Hyderabad, who lost both legs, have regained the ability to walk, while others including Akash from Karimnagar and Timma Reddy from Hyderabad are progressing toward self-reliance.

Commenting on the initiative, Palak Agarwal, Director, Narayan Seva Sansthan, said: “For over four decades, our focus has been on enabling persons with disabilities to lead independent and dignified lives. Strategic CSR collaborations such as this not only restore physical mobility but also unlock opportunities for long-term empowerment. We urge more corporate institutions to partner with us in scaling this impact across underserved communities nationwide.”

The collaboration highlights the role of corporate and non-profit partnerships in delivering measurable social outcomes, particularly in the area of disability rehabilitation and inclusion.

Founded in 1985 by Kailash Chandra Agarwal, Narayan Seva Sansthan continues to provide free healthcare, rehabilitation, skill development, and social inclusion services. The organisation conducts daily outpatient consultations and surgeries, while also offering vocational training programmes in areas such as computer skills, mobile repairing, and tailoring.

The organisation is also working on a ‘Smart Village for Persons with Disabilities’, an integrated campus designed to provide healthcare, education, financial services, and essential amenities, enabling individuals to live independently with dignity.
