Bengaluru, March 12, 2026: Miror Therapeutics Pvt. Ltd. organised a hormonal health awareness programme titled “Women’s Midlife & Beyond” at the Magadi Road Maternity Hospital in Bengaluru, aimed at supporting frontline women workers through medical education and nutritional guidance. The initiative focused on raising awareness about perimenopause and menopause among women engaged in essential public services.
The programme brought together 62 women participants, including Pourakarmikas, ASHA workers, and hospital staff, providing them with information about hormonal health and midlife transitions. The initiative highlighted the need for greater awareness and access to healthcare support for women who play a critical role in maintaining city services and public health.
During the event, 54 participants underwent clinical screening, which revealed that 84% were in the perimenopause stage, while 16% had reached menopause, indicating a significant need for early detection and targeted healthcare support.
Sanjith Shetty, Founder & CEO, Miror Therapeutics, said, “This data underscores an urgent need for localised advocacy and early-stage hormonal support within these professional sectors.”
The programme also included interactive discussions led by representatives from the Indian Menopause Society (IMS) and Miror Therapeutics, covering topics such as perimenopause, menopause and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Participants received dietary consultations and guidance on managing hormonal health during midlife.
According to the organisers, the initiative aims to improve awareness and encourage women to seek timely medical consultation for symptoms associated with hormonal changes.
Miror Therapeutics also announced plans to strengthen its outreach approach by prioritising gynaecologist-led advocacy in future programmes. The company believes that involving clinical experts will help women better understand symptom management and the medical eligibility required for hormone replacement therapy.
Mr. Shetty added, “Our mission is to ensure every woman leaves with clinical clarity. By shifting toward clinical gynaecology, we aim to foster higher medical literacy and a more confident adoption of evidence-based treatments.”
The programme reflects a growing focus on addressing women’s midlife health concerns, particularly among frontline workers who often have limited access to specialised healthcare information. By combining clinical awareness with preventive guidance, the initiative seeks to support women’s long-term health and wellbeing.
