New Delhi, April 02, 2026: Kisan Kumbh 2026, held on March 30–31 at Dogra Hall, IIT Delhi, brought together over 2,500 farmers and key stakeholders from across India’s agricultural ecosystem. M3M Foundation leveraged the platform to showcase grassroots enterprises and enable direct market access for rural producers.
The Foundation’s stalls featured products from regions such as Ladakh, Spiti, and Nubra Valley, including cold-pressed mustard oil, hand-ground spices, sea buckthorn-based products, roasted barley, and yak wool items. With participation from beneficiaries and local teams, the initiative provided an opportunity to promote, market, and sell products directly to consumers.
The stalls attracted more than 2,500 visitors, helping strengthen market linkages and enhance visibility for rural enterprises. The engagement also facilitated direct interaction between producers and customers, highlighting the role of such platforms in bridging rural-urban market gaps.
The Foundation’s efforts were acknowledged during the event by Shyam Singh Rana, Hon’ble Agriculture Minister of Haryana, in the presence of V. K. Singh. The event was also attended by Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India.
Dr. Aishwarya Mahajan, Managing Trustee and President, M3M Foundation, said, “M3M Foundation is currently working across 8 states with over 10,000 farmers, including in remote regions such as Laddakh and Spiti. In areas like Nubra Valley, we have enabled food processing systems, ensuring that farmers are not only engaged in cultivation but also in value addition. More than 5,000 women farmers are actively involved in both farming and processing, strengthening rural livelihoods.”
Dr. Payal Kanodia, Chairperson and Trustee, M3M Foundation, added, “At M3M Foundation, our approach is to work closely with farmers, especially women, and strengthen their role as decision-makers in agriculture. We are not only supporting them in cultivation but also enabling value addition, market access, and sustainable practices, so that farming becomes more resilient and profitable. Platforms like Kisan Kumbh help amplify their efforts by connecting them directly with larger markets and opportunities.”
M3M Foundation’s participation reflects its ongoing focus on promoting value addition, improving market access, and strengthening women-led agricultural enterprises across diverse geographies.
