New Delhi, August 30, 2023: Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) has announced its collaboration with the Y4D Foundation to deliver financial and digital literacy training to 25,000 women across India. The initiative aims to bridge the skills gap and enhance financial and technological knowledge among women from diverse backgrounds.The training will include essential financial concepts like Banking Basics, Account Opening procedures, Unified Payments Interface (UPI) training, Investment Guidance, Net Banking, and information on Government Schemes such as BetiBachaoBetiPadhao, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, and Nari Shakti. The digital literacy component will cover topics like Mobile Banking, Digital Market Linkage, and Cyber Safety and Security, equipping women with essential skills for success in the digital age.
Conducted in a classroom-based format at various locations across the country, the training will group beneficiaries based on their interests, needs, and existing digital and financial literacy levels, promoting a more focused and efficient learning experience.Through this initiative, HCCB aims to empower women to take control of their financial independence and seize opportunities presented by the government and the digital landscape. With a history of empowering women-led self-help groups, HCCB envisions nurturing more entrepreneurs through this endeavour.
