Gurugram, 12 February 2026: Heliware, a deep-tech startup focused on AI-powered 3D geospatial intelligence and analytics, has raised ₹4.5 crore in a bridge funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The capital will be used to accelerate research and development, strengthen core technology, and support the launch of new products nearing market entry.
The company also plans to utilise the funds to expand into international markets through strategic partnerships, talent acquisition, and operational setup across key global geographies, while strengthening working capital for ongoing and future projects.
Heliware has developed what it describes as India’s first nationwide high-resolution 3D terrain model integrated with flood simulation, line-of-sight analysis, and predictive spatial analytics. The platform is designed as a plug-and-play geospatial intelligence solution, enabling industries to conduct spatial analysis and application development significantly faster and at lower cost.
The startup currently serves over 100 clients across five countries, including government agencies and enterprise customers in Southeast Asia. Its clients span sectors such as defence, infrastructure, technology, retail, and renewable energy, including organisations such as the Indian Army, DRDO, Larsen & Toubro, Accenture, Nielsen, and ReNew.
Mitesh Shah, Co-Founder, Inflection Point Ventures, said, "Geospatial intelligence is becoming a foundational layer for modern infrastructure, defense preparedness, and enterprise decision-making. Heliware's ability to democratize extremely complex GIS capabilities with a plug-and-play, scalable platform that produces tangible results is what makes it unique. We think Heliware is well-positioned to become a globally significant Indian geospatial intelligence firm since the company has established a solid technological moat with distinct use cases across several industries.”
Founded by Rajan Srivastav, a Geo-Informatics engineer from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, Heliware has patented three-dimensional GIS technology aimed at simplifying complex spatial analysis. Srivastav has previously been recognised among the 50 Rising Stars of Geospatial World in 2022 and was awarded Young Entrepreneur 2021 by the Indian Achievers Forum.
"Our experience with IPV has been deeply collaborative and value-driven, helping us sharpen our strategic direction while preparing Heliware for its next phase of growth," says Rajan Srivastav, founder and CEO, Heliware. By making sophisticated 3D and location analytics available to all industries, not just GIS specialists, we hope to democratize geospatial information. We continue to be committed to creating an India-born, internationally relevant platform that facilitates quicker decision-making, more intelligent infrastructure, and practical effects as we expand into new areas. Redefining how the world interacts with location data is the goal of this adventure, he adds.
Heliware has a pan-India operational presence and continues to scale its cloud-based geospatial intelligence solutions. The global geospatial and GIS market is currently valued at approximately USD 100 billion and is projected to grow significantly over the next decade, with India expected to see strong adoption across infrastructure, defence, and enterprise applications.
