Hyderabad, April 30, 2026: HEINEKEN has announced the opening of its HEINEKEN Business Services (HBS) India Centre in Hyderabad, marking its first business services hub in the Asia Pacific region and a key step in its global transformation strategy.
The new centre aligns with HEINEKEN’s EverGreen 2030 strategy and is designed to strengthen global operations by enabling standardised processes, improved efficiency, and enhanced digital capabilities across markets. It will support operations across Asia Pacific and selected regions in Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe.
The inauguration was attended by senior leadership from HEINEKEN and United Breweries Limited, along with Telangana government officials including D. Sridhar Babu, Minister for Industries & Commerce, and Jupally Krishna Rao, Minister for Prohibition & Excise, Tourism & Culture.
The Hyderabad facility spans 76,000 square feet and is designed to support functions such as finance, procurement, supply chain, human resources, and enterprise-wide digital and data operations. It also aims to enable business process transformation and reduce duplication across global markets through a centralised services model.
The HBS India Centre is HEINEKEN’s fourth global business services location and is expected to play a significant role in expanding the company’s global capability network. The broader HBS network is projected to grow to around 3,000 roles worldwide by 2030.
Ákos Magyari, Senior Director, HBS, said, “EverGreen 2030 is reshaping HEINEKEN into a more connected, resilient and future-ready organisation. The launch of HBS India is a landmark step in strengthening our global capability network and deepening our footprint in one of our most strategically important markets. Complementing our longstanding presence through United Breweries Limited, the centre positions India as a critical hub within our global services ecosystem; enabling consistent ways of working, operational excellence and longterm value creation. India’s scale, talent depth, and digital maturity will play a defining role in HEINEKEN’s sustainable global expansion.”
Vineeth Suresh, Director & India Head, HBS, added, “The launch of HBS India reflects HEINEKEN’s strong confidence in India as a longterm strategic partner in its global transformation journey. Building on the solid foundation of UBL, the Hyderabad centre brings together worldclass talent, global standards and a collaborative culture to deliver highquality, connected services at scale. As a regional hub supporting Asia Pacific and beyond, it will play a key role in driving consistency, efficiency, and innovation across markets.”
The new centre reinforces Hyderabad’s position as a growing hub for global business services and innovation.
