Bengaluru, May 07, 2026: Branch International, in partnership with Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, has implemented a set of community-focused interventions benefiting 220 individuals across Bengaluru.

The initiative covered two key areas—menstrual hygiene and nutrition for school students, and support for persons with disabilities—through targeted outreach and resource distribution.

Under the Menstrual Hygiene & Nutrition programme, around 200 students from two government schools were reached through awareness sessions on menstrual health and nutrition. The programme included the distribution of 200 Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) kits and 200 nutrition kits. These sessions were designed to address stigma and promote informed health practices among adolescent girls.

In parallel, the initiative extended support to approximately 20 individuals with disabilities through the distribution of assistive devices, including artificial limbs, wheelchairs, digital kits, and spinal injury kits. Each intervention was accompanied by assessments, customisation, and training to ensure effective usage and improved outcomes.

The programme aligns with Samarthanam Trust’s broader focus on inclusive development through education, healthcare, and livelihood support for underserved communities.

Neeraj Gupta, MD, Branch International, said, “At Branch, we believe access changes outcomes, whether it's access to credit, a hygiene kit, or a wheelchair. Our partnership with Samarthanam Trust extends that conviction beyond financial services, and the 220 lives reached are a starting point, not the destination.”

Krishna Priya, Head of People (India), Branch International, added, “Inclusion at Branch is a hiring principle, a product principle, and now visibly, a community principle. Our partnership with Samarthanam Trust gives our team a chance to live the values we recruit for, and reminds us that the company we're building inside is only as real as the impact we have outside it.”

Dr Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar, Founder Managing Trustee, Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, said, “We believe that access to basic healthcare, hygiene, and assistive support can significantly transform lives. Our partnership with Branch International has enabled us to extend our reach and deliver targeted interventions that not only address immediate needs but also foster long-term dignity, independence, and well-being among beneficiaries.”

The collaboration also emphasised awareness-led engagement, particularly in addressing menstrual health taboos and encouraging informed decision-making among students.
