New Delhi, April 14, 2026: Bisleri International has partnered with The Live Love Laugh Foundation to support the expansion of its rural mental health programme in Chhindwara district, Madhya Pradesh, strengthening access to care and community-led support systems.
Launched in January 2023 in the Sausar block, the programme initially covered 60 villages and has since expanded to 134 villages, reaching 1,595 beneficiaries. The initiative has now extended into the Bichua block, adding 42 more villages and supporting 200 persons living with mental illness (PwMI). With Bisleri’s support, the programme aims to deepen its outreach across the district while building sustainable, community-driven mental health systems.
The programme focuses on awareness, early identification, access to treatment, and caregiver support. It also promotes long-term sustainability through village-level caregiver groups, block-level federations, and trained community volunteers, enabling communities to manage mental health support independently over time.
Speaking about the CSR partnership, Jayanti Chauhan said, "At Bisleri, we believe that enduring change is rooted in empowering communities with the awareness and resources to shape their own futures. Mental health, though integral to overall well-being, continues to remain under-recognised, particularly in rural India. We are proud to support The Live Love Laugh Foundation’s work in Chhindwara, and hope this initiative fosters greater understanding, accessibility, and a more compassionate ecosystem of care within the community."
Deepika Padukone added, "Since its inception, The Live Love Laugh Foundation has been committed to creating awareness about the importance of mental health as well as improving accessibility and affordability of mental healthcare across the country. Our rural programme is an important part of that effort. We are pleased to have Bisleri International join us in strengthening our work in Chhindwara. Their support enables us to scale the programme and move closer to our goal of building a sustainable, community-led mental health system."
The collaboration reflects a broader effort to address mental health challenges in underserved regions, where awareness and access to care remain limited. By integrating community participation with structured support systems, the initiative aims to create a scalable and replicable model for rural mental healthcare.
Currently, The Live Love Laugh Foundation’s rural mental health programme operates across multiple states, including Karnataka, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh, supporting individuals and caregivers through a comprehensive and community-centric approach.
