Mumbai, Apr 11, 2025: Sterlite EdIndia Foundation, in partnership with the Chhattisgarh State Education and Research Council (SCERT), has rolled out the 'State Level Teaching Plan Competition 2025', an innovative step towards enhancing the quality of teacher training at the state level. Now in its third year, the competition aims to set new standards in training the educators of tomorrow, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical classroom application.

The competition, held on 5th April, marks a significant step in the foundation's broader mission to revolutionize teacher training in India. The competition serves as a key component of a larger pre-service teacher education program that integrates live teaching demonstrations with expert feedback, ensuring that participants are not only knowledgeable but also fully prepared to inspire and lead their students effectively from day one.

Dekeshwar Verma, D.El.Ed. Cell In-charge SCERT, said, "The State Level Teaching Plan Competition is an essential initiative in our state’s educational landscape. It empowers future educators with the practical tools and skills they need to succeed and inspire their students. Through programs like these, we are setting a benchmark for teacher training that will have a lasting impact on the educational sector across India. We are proud of our partnership with Sterlite EdIndia Foundation in shaping the future of education in Chhattisgarh.”

The event saw 36 student-teachers from 18 district training institutions across Chhattisgarh compete, showcasing their teaching plans through live demonstrations.
