Gurugram, July 2, 2025: Shree Cement, one of India’s leading cement manufacturers, has appointed Vishal Bhardwaj as the new Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Bhardwaj brings nearly 30 years of experience in driving CSR initiatives across the cement, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries, both in India and abroad.
Prior to joining Shree Cement, he served as Group CSR Head at Indorama Corporation in Dubai, where he led global CSR programs with a focus on inclusive development and sustainable change.
In his new role, Bhardwaj will lead Shree Cement’s CSR strategy, enhance implementation frameworks, and build partnerships to increase the company’s social impact with a focus on quality and measurable outcomes.

Shree Cement’s CSR initiatives currently impact over 6.7 lakh individuals and are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The company, through its Shree Foundation Trust, supports healthcare, education, rural infrastructure, women empowerment, and environmental conservation across several villages.
Key initiatives include mobile medical vans, school infrastructure upgrades, vocational training for women, and fixed deposit support for girl children. Under ‘Project Naman,’ the company also provides free cement to families of armed forces personnel martyred in the last 20 years to assist in home construction, reinforcing its commitment to national service and community development.
