New Delhi, July 20, 2026: Globe Toyota, a JCBL Group company and one of North India's largest Toyota dealership networks, has partnered with BioTradX, a digital marketplace for recyclable and recoverable materials, to strengthen responsible waste and resource management across its dealerships.
Under the partnership, Globe Toyota will use the BioTradX platform to manage and monetise used engine oil, recyclable materials and other recoverable resources generated across its dealership network. The collaboration is aimed at improving traceability and compliance in resource recovery while supporting circular economy practices.
As part of the initiative, around 30,000 litres of used engine oil per month is expected to be collected for environmentally responsible processing and conversion into sustainable biofuel products. The companies also plan to expand the scope of the partnership over time to include additional recyclable and recoverable industrial waste streams.
The initiative builds on Globe Toyota's existing sustainability efforts. According to the company, solar power installations across multiple dealerships have reduced 2,58,286 kg of CO₂ emissions, equivalent to planting 7,709 trees, while lowering energy costs by 40%. The company has also introduced water-efficient car wash systems that have reduced annual water consumption by 36%, saving approximately 1.34 crore litres of water each year.
These initiatives form part of Globe Toyota's broader sustainability roadmap, which includes a target of reducing its carbon footprint by 50% by 2030. The company's Ludhiana dealership has also received ESG certification.
