Mumbai, April 06, 2026: Drychem India Pvt. Ltd., through its CSR arm Walplast Welfare Foundation, has strengthened education infrastructure across more than 100 schools during FY 2025–26, expanding its community development initiatives across multiple states in India.
The initiative focuses on improving learning environments in government and community schools by providing essential infrastructure and resources. It spans regions including Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh, aligning with the company’s operational presence to ensure sustained community engagement.
Under the programme, schools have been equipped with facilities such as computers, printers, classroom furniture, writing boards, sanitation infrastructure, water coolers, lighting solutions, and essential learning materials like notebooks and school bags. Additional support includes boundary walls, air coolers, Bluetooth sound systems, and office furniture to improve both classroom and administrative functionality.
The initiative aims to address infrastructure gaps in underserved and rural areas, enabling better access to educational resources and creating safer, more conducive environments for students. It also extends support to tribal schools, gram panchayats, and rural healthcare facilities, contributing to broader community development.
Kaushal Mehta, Managing Director and Founder, Drychem India Pvt. Ltd., said, “Education has always been central to our philosophy at Drychem, because we believe true nation-building begins in the classroom. The CSR programmes are implemented in collaboration with local authorities, school administrations, and community stakeholders to ensure effective execution and long-term sustainability.
