Mumbai, May 05, 2026: Deoleo has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, highlighting progress across circular economy, decarbonisation, and transparency initiatives. The company reported incorporating 40% recycled plastic in its packaging—achieving its 2030 target five years ahead of schedule—alongside a 30% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions since 2022.

According to the report, 79% of Deoleo’s bottles are now recyclable, while 36% of its Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) volume is sourced from certified sustainable mills. The company’s manufacturing operations are powered by 98% renewable energy, contributing to a reduction of 135,270 tonnes of CO₂ emissions globally.

In India, the company reported managing 370 metric tonnes of PET waste, including 222 MT recycled and 148 MT co-processed. These efforts resulted in savings of over 4.4 million litres of water, 3.1 million kWh of energy, and significant reductions in air pollutants and landfill use.

The report also underscores the company’s Sustainability Protocol, which now covers 95 mills and supports over 61,000 farmers globally. This initiative focuses on improving agricultural practices, resource efficiency, and emissions monitoring across nearly 350,000 hectares of olive groves.

On the social front, Deoleo recorded 27,267 training hours for employees in 2025, reflecting a 27.5% increase year-on-year, along with continued efforts toward workplace equality and inclusion.
