Cuddalore, Oct 28, 2024: CreditAccess India Foundation, the CSR wing of microfinance institution CA Grameen, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Apollo Telemedicine Networking Foundation (ATNF), a nonprofit organisation of the Apollo Hospitals group, to offer cancer screenings and primary health care services in Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu.
The collaboration effective from August 2024 to March 2025 aims to screen over 11,000 beneficiaries across villages in the district. The services will include screenings of oral, breast, cervical, lung, oesophageal cancers. Additionally, primary healthcare consultations will be provided both on-site by an Apollo doctor and through teleconsultations with expert physicians from the Apollo Hospitals network. These essential screenings aim to ensure early detection of potential health issues, promoting proactive healthcare management and fostering a healthier community.
