Rajasthan, April 29, 2026: Xiaomi India has launched JeevikaSaathi+, a women entrepreneurship initiative aimed at supporting over 1,000 women across Udaipur and Jaipur through skill development, digital learning, and enterprise support.

The programme is designed to strengthen grassroots entrepreneurship and enable sustainable livelihoods, particularly for women from underserved communities. Under the initiative, 750 women will be onboarded, 500 will receive structured training in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and digital skills, and 250 women-led businesses will be supported through asset-based assistance to help start or scale operations.

JeevikaSaathi+ combines on-ground training with digital learning modules covering business planning, financial management, and digital literacy. Participants will also receive mentorship and access to platforms such as NITI Aayog’s Women Entrepreneurship Platform and the MSME Udyam Sakhi portal to strengthen their business capabilities and market reach.

The initiative also focuses on improving access to markets and formal systems. Support will be provided for e-commerce onboarding, supplier linkages, and assistance with registrations, banking, and government schemes to reduce entry barriers and improve business sustainability.

Mr. Varun Madan, Chief People Officer & Head of Integrated Management, Xiaomi India, said, “At Xiaomi, we believe access creates opportunity. JeevikaSaathi+ is about bridging that access gap for women through skills, digital tools, and market linkages so they can build and scale their own businesses. Through this initiative, we aim to help women move from early ideas or informal set-ups to stable, income-generating enterprises. Our goal is to enable sustainable income generation, strengthen grassroots entrepreneurship, and drive more inclusive growth in the communities we serve.”

The programme was inaugurated in Udaipur in the presence of Mannalal Rawat, Member of Parliament, who highlighted the importance of women’s participation in achieving inclusive growth. The initiative is being implemented with support from BharatCares.

Bhomik Shah, Trustee, BharatCares, said, "At BharatCares, we see entrepreneurship as a powerful pathway to dignity, agency, and long-term economic resilience for women at the grassroots. We are honoured to give this cause another form through Xiaomi India’s JeevikaSaathi+ program. Our collective mission is to enable women not just with skills, but with the confidence, networks, and market access required to build sustainable enterprises.”

JeevikaSaathi+ is part of Xiaomi India’s broader efforts to promote inclusive growth by expanding access to skills, resources, and economic opportunities for women entrepreneurs.
