Welspun Corp Ranks Among Top Five Steel Companies Globally in S&P Global CSA 2025

Mumbai, January 30, 2026: Welspun Corp Limited has been ranked among the top five steel companies globally and second in India in the Steel sector under the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) 2025.

The company achieved an overall Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) score of 78, reflecting a 7 per cent increase from its previous score of 73. The improved ranking places Welspun Corp fifth globally and second nationally among steel sector peers assessed under the 2025 CSA.

Welspun Corp attributed the performance to its continued focus on environmental sustainability, including long-term targets to achieve carbon and water neutrality by 2040, alongside strengthening social responsibility initiatives, governance frameworks, and transparent disclosures.
