New Delhi, July 23, 2026: WattPower Systems, a renewable energy company, has announced the launch of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm, WattPower Foundation, to expand its social impact initiatives beyond clean energy. Guided by the company's 'Wired for Good' philosophy, the Foundation will focus on women’s empowerment, education, menstrual health and animal welfare.

According to the company, the Foundation aims to work with communities by improving access to opportunities and supporting initiatives that create long-term social and environmental value. Its programmes will be implemented in collaboration with government bodies, educational institutions, implementation partners and community organisations.

The Foundation has already initiated projects across its four focus areas. In partnership with Round Table India, it has contributed to the construction of classrooms to improve learning infrastructure. It has also collaborated with Project Baala and SP Seva Sansthan to promote menstrual health awareness and improve access to reusable sanitary napkins for women and girls. Additionally, through its partnership with Friendicoes, the Foundation is supporting the care and feeding of stray animals.

Speaking on the launch, Smriti Agrawal, Chairperson, WattPower Foundation, said, "The WattPower Foundation is deeply personal to me because every cause we support comes from something I have witnessed or experienced. Over the years, I realised that meaningful change often begins with simple acts of care and the willingness to stand beside those who need us the most.

Through this Foundation, we hope to create opportunities that help people move forward with confidence and dignity. If we can make even a small difference in someone's life, we believe it is a responsibility worth taking."

The company said the Foundation will continue expanding its programmes by partnering with various stakeholders to strengthen community development initiatives and create sustainable social impact across India.
