New Delhi, Mar 26, 2025: Akvo Atmospheric Water Systems Pvt Ltd, a company in cutting edge water technology, has announced the commercial launch of its Water-on-Want (WoW) initiative. Launched for corporates in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat, this breakthrough model provides an innovative OPEX based Build Own Operate Transfer (BOOT) contract structure under which business can get access to Akvo’s state of the art water generation technology with no initial cash investment (CAPEX).
The WoW initiative has been developed and optimized over an 18-month pilot phase and ensures that corporations are able to meet their daily water needs in a sustainable, cost effective and risk-free manner, without the need to bear the high costs of investing in infrastructure. The minimum daily offtake is 500 litres per day (LPD) and Akvo is leading the way in how water is sourced and used in the corporate environment.
The OPEX BOOT model eradicates the financial and operational risks that are normally associated with the adoption of advanced water technologies. In this case, the client does not purchase equipment but rather pays a variable charge depending on the amount of water consumed at a competitive per litre rate. The Atmospheric Water Generators (AWGs) are owned, installed, maintained and operated by Akvo throughout the term of the contract making it a risk-free process for the client.
