Hyderabad, August 11, 2026: Synchrony, in collaboration with Nirmaan Organization, has launched Future Ready Schools, a multi-year philanthropic initiative aimed at strengthening digital and STEM learning in government schools in Telangana’s Ibrahimpatnam block of Ranga Reddy district.
The initiative will cover 12 government high schools and is designed to reach more than 3,000 students, with a focus on digital learning, foundational artificial intelligence (AI) education, STEM education and career readiness. Two digital-learning labs have been inaugurated as part of the programme.
Future Ready Schools follows a cluster-based approach intended to improve access to technology-enabled education while strengthening the wider school ecosystem. The programme will support students from Classes 6 to 10 and include scholarships for meritorious students pursuing higher education.
The initiative will also establish digital learning labs within high school classrooms, introduce students to AI and its responsible use in learning, and strengthen STEM education. In addition, teacher capacity-building programmes will be conducted to help educators adopt modern tools and teaching methodologies.

Through the initiative, Synchrony will also support more than 3,000 students annually across the participating schools. The programme is part of the company’s global CSR platform, Education as an Equalizer, through which Synchrony supports initiatives focused on higher education, skills training in high-growth fields and financial literacy.
The programme aims to help students build the knowledge and confidence to make informed academic and career choices while enabling educators to provide more technology-enabled and future-focused learning experiences.
