Mumbai, Mar 21, 2025: Supriya Lifescience Ltd, a cGMP-compliant company with a well-established presence in API manufacturing, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art (SOTA) 5 MWp solar power facility in Nanded District, Maharashtra.

This initiative is part of the ongoing program in which Supriya Lifesciences is committed to reducing carbon footprint from its operations. Apart from this new addition of a solar facility in Nanded, the total installed solar capacity now reads at 9.85 MWp against the existing 4.85 MWp of installed solar projects in Solapur District, Maharashtra. These projects further reduce reliance on fossil fuels, thus aiding India's larger climate change objectives by developing a cleaner and more sustainable energy system.

The project at Nanded was inaugurated by Dr Satish Wagh, Chairman of Supriya Lifescience, who emphasized the company's commitment to renewable energy and environmental stewardship.

“Embracing renewable energy is not just a strategic business decision but also a commitment to a greener future,” said Wagh. “Our solar power investments are integral to our vision of sustainable growth and reducing environmental impact,” he added.

The latest solar project was executed bilaterally with Enrich Energy Pvt. Ltd., a leader in renewable energy solutions. The integration of solar energy at Supriya Lifescience reflects the company's green commitment and proactive energy efficiency in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
