Shalimar Paints Launches Prastavana for Painter Wellbeing

New Delhi, October 22, 2026: Shalimar Paints has launched Shalimar Prastavana, a painter empowerment initiative under its Shalimar Expert Program, to support painters’ health, financial security and professional development.

Introduced ahead of the festive season, the initiative aims to recognise the contribution of painters and provide them with access to healthcare services, insurance protection and skill development opportunities. The company said the programme is designed to address the broader professional and personal needs of the painter community.

Under Prastavana, participating Shalimar painters will have access to accidental death and permanent or partial disability coverage, telemedical consultations, AI Medi Insights and hospital cash benefits. The initiative also includes skill development opportunities and certifications to support painters’ professional growth.

Commenting on the launch, Mr Kuldip Raina, MD & CEO, Shalimar Paints, said, “Painters play a vital role in transforming spaces through their skill, craftsmanship and dedication. Through Prastavana, we aim to extend our commitment beyond the products we create by supporting their wellbeing, professional development and family security. We believe that empowering painters with access to healthcare, insurance protection and skill development opportunities is an important step towards recognising their contribution and supporting their growth. With Prastavana, we reaffirm our commitment to the people whose hands help build India, enabling them to pursue their profession with greater confidence and security.”

Alongside the new initiative, Shalimar Paints continues to provide educational resources and training videos through its dedicated Facebook page, the Shalimar Expert Program. These resources are intended to help painters access information about products, improve their knowledge and strengthen their skills.

The company also uses Rangeela, its painter mascot featured in social media and YouTube content, to make information about new products and painter empowerment more accessible to the community.

Shalimar Prastavana forms part of the company’s broader engagement with painters, combining recognition with access to healthcare, financial protection and professional training. Through the initiative, Shalimar Paints aims to strengthen its relationship with painters and support long-term development opportunities for them and their families.
