New Delhi, May 21, 2025: ‘SAVE–The Roshni Project’ was officially inaugurated today at AcuVision Eye Centre. This initiative aims to provide free cataract surgeries to underprivileged individuals who are unable to afford quality eye care. The project is being implemented under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of SAVE Microfinance Private Limited, a part of the SAVE Group.
As part of the program, patients were provided with discharge summaries and post-operative medication kits to ensure a smooth recovery process after surgery.
Representing SAVE Group at the event were Aditi Mittal (Group Head – Human Resources) and Anurag Mathur (Senior Manager – CSR). They reaffirmed the group's commitment to inclusive and accessible healthcare services for all.
Mittal said, "At SAVE Group, we believe that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege. Through 'SAVE–The Roshni Project,' we aim to make a meaningful difference by providing free cataract surgeries to those in need. This initiative reflects our commitment to creating a positive social impact and fostering a healthier, more inclusive community."
The founders of SAVE Group — Ajeet Kumar Singh, Pankaj Kumar, and Ajay Kumar Sinha — extended their gratitude to the Care for Health team and shared: “We are deeply conscious of our social responsibilities. Through our CSR fund, we are facilitating 89 free cataract surgeries under this initiative.”
This initiative will be a boon for those poor and needy individuals who cannot afford surgical treatment and lack access to financial assistance. ‘SAVE–The Roshni Project’ marks a significant step towards eliminating preventable blindness and making quality eye care accessible to all.
