Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2026 Selects Top 100 Young Innovators Across India

Gurugram, July 30, 2026: Samsung India has announced the Top 100 teams selected for the fifth edition of Samsung Solve for Tomorrow (SFT), its flagship innovation programme for young people aged 14 to 22 years. The shortlisted teams were chosen from thousands of applications and will now compete for mentorship, incubation support and grants of up to INR 2 crore.

The programme recorded an 85% increase in applications and a 95% rise in participation compared to last year. More than 50% of the Top 100 teams are from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, with participants representing districts such as Buxar (Bihar), Kamrup (Assam), Kaithal (Haryana), Medchal-Malkajgiri (Telangana), Sundargarh (Odisha) and Narmadapuram (Madhya Pradesh).

The selected teams have proposed technology-driven solutions across four themes—AI Living for India, Health & Education, Sports & Tech, and Environmental Sustainability. Their ideas include AI-powered public safety platforms, assistive technologies for persons with disabilities, smart classroom solutions, wearable devices for sports performance and environmental monitoring systems.

The Top 100 teams will now receive mentorship from startup founders, industry experts and academic mentors from FITT-IIT Delhi. The Top 40 teams will advance to an Innovation Bootcamp and receive funding and Samsung laptops to develop prototypes, while the Top 20 teams will receive additional support before presenting their solutions at the Grand Finale.

The four winning teams will collectively receive an incubation grant of INR 2 crore, along with incubation support from FITT-IIT Delhi to help commercialise their innovations. Launched in India five years ago, Samsung Solve for Tomorrow is part of Samsung's global CSR initiative aimed at encouraging youth-led innovation through technology and entrepreneurship.
