GURUGRAM, India – August 08, 2025: Samsung India has announced the 40 semi-finalist teams for the fourth edition of its nationwide youth innovation competition, Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025. The shortlisted teams, selected from across 15 Indian states, represent a diverse set of ideas aimed at addressing key societal challenges through technology.
This year’s cohort includes participants from both urban and rural regions, including Cachar (Assam), Baghpat (Uttar Pradesh), Mahabubnagar (Telangana), Durg (Chhattisgarh), and Sundargarh (Odisha). The competition continues to emphasize inclusive participation, enabling young innovators from Tier 2, Tier 3 cities, and remote areas to bring forward their solutions.
Entries were invited under four themes: AI for a Safer, Smarter, and Inclusive Bharat, The Future of Health, Hygiene, and Well-being in India, Social Change through Sports and Technology for Education and Better Futures, and Environmental Sustainability through Technology. The selected ideas reflect a broad spectrum of pressing issues—from AI-powered tools for clean water and air quality monitoring to gamified learning solutions, mental wellness tools, and platforms for personalised sports coaching.
“We are excited to announce the Top 40 semi-finalist teams of Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025. These young innovators, including those from Tier 2, Tier 3 cities, and remote regions, are using technology to solve real societal challenges. The top 40 teams will now participate in an intensive Innovation Bootcamp facilitated by experts from Samsung R&D, IIT Delhi, and other partners. The bootcamp will include training sessions, mentoring, and prototype development support. Participants will also engage with alumni of previous editions and industry leaders to help refine their innovations.
Following the bootcamp, a National Pitch Event will be conducted where a Samsung jury will select the top 20 teams to advance further in the competition.
As part of the rewards structure:
- Top 40 teams will receive ₹8 lakh each, and every team member will be given a Samsung laptop.
- Top 20 teams will be awarded ₹20 lakh along with Samsung Galaxy Z Flip smartphones.
- Four winning teams at the Grand Finale will receive an incubation grant of ₹1 crore at IIT Delhi to help scale their innovations.
