Runaya Completes School Renovation Project in Jharsuguda, Odisha, Benefiting Over 3,500 People

Jharsuguda, Odisha, May 16, 2025: Runaya, a manufacturing company focused on sustainability and innovation, has completed the renovation of school infrastructure across several schools in Jharsuguda district, western Odisha. The initiative, part of the company’s education outreach under its flagship program Project Laadli, aimed to enhance learning environments through upgraded classrooms, sanitation, kitchen facilities, and a fully equipped library.

The infrastructure improvements were carried out in multiple schools, including primary, upper primary, and high schools. More than 351 students and staff have directly benefited from the project, with the overall impact extending to over 3,560 individuals in the region. 

As part of the sustainability efforts, a School Students Committee has been established to maintain the upgraded facilities, under the guidance of the school headmasters and local governance bodies.

Commenting on the completion of the project, Jagannath Prasad Routray, CEO of Recycling Business, Runaya, said, “The completion of this project marks a significant milestone in our dedication to community-oriented education. Every Project Laadli refurbishment has sought to build inclusive environments where children, particularly girls, feel safe, inspired, and encouraged to attend school often.
