RHI Magnesita Receives Andhra Pradesh CSR Award for Inclusive Development Initiatives

Gurugram, April 08, 2026: RHI Magnesita, a global manufacturer and supplier of refractory products and solutions, has been honoured with the ‘CSR Award’ by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for its contribution to the state’s P4 (Public–Private–People Partnership) initiative. The award was presented by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu and received by Abhishek Sharma, Head of Operations – India Region, on behalf of the company.

The recognition highlights RHI Magnesita’s sustained efforts towards inclusive and sustainable development across communities in Andhra Pradesh. The company has implemented CSR initiatives focused on education, healthcare, rural development, and skill enhancement, aimed at improving access to essential services and enabling long-term socio-economic progress.

As part of its interventions, RHI Magnesita has supported the restoration and upgradation of schools in Venkatapuram, improving learning infrastructure and providing essential educational resources to students from underserved backgrounds. In healthcare, the company has contributed to enhancing facilities at the N.T.R. Government Hospital in Anakapalle, including the addition of a patient waiting hall, baby feeding room, de-addiction and rehabilitation centre, and mortuary.

Community development initiatives have also focused on improving sanitation, drinking water systems, and local infrastructure. Additionally, skill development programmes implemented at Government ITIs, through the provision of industry-relevant machinery, have enabled practical training and improved employability outcomes for youth.

Collectively, these efforts have impacted over 12,000 villagers and supported more than 1,000 students in the region. RHI Magnesita also operates a manufacturing facility in Visakhapatnam, further strengthening its engagement with local communities.
