RevFin celebrates women's involvement in India's EV revolution

New Delhi, August 25, 2023. RevFin, a leading digital consumer lending platform, is recognizing the growing participation of women from Tier 2 and 3 cities in India's electric vehicle (EV) revolution. Data from various states reveals that 24% of the EV industry's representation in Tier 2 and 3 markets consists of talented and empowered women. Bihar and Uttar Pradesh have taken the lead, with more than 5200 women availing loans to support the EV revolution.

RevFin's report underscores the empowerment of women through EV financing across different states. Notable figures include 550 women from Uttarakhand and 362 from Jharkhand who have secured loans for EVs.One compelling success story features PriyaVerma, a 32-year-old woman from Haridwar. Transitioning from a security guard, Priya seized control of her life during the lockdown by obtaining an E-rickshaw loan from RevFin. With steady earnings exceeding INR 20,000, Priya now enjoys enhanced flexibility, work-life balance, and improved living standards.
