New Delhi, July 31, 2026: Reckitt has signed Letters of Intent (LOIs) with seven organisations to strengthen health, hygiene, sanitation and environmental awareness programmes across India. The three-year collaborations (2026–2029) aim to reach 100 million beneficiaries through direct community engagement, representing a 3.5-fold increase over the previous year.
The partnerships bring together implementation agencies, multilateral organisations, educational institutions, media platforms and thought leaders to expand Reckitt's flagship social initiatives, including Dettol Banega Swasth India, Dettol School Hygiene Education Programme, Durex The Birds and Bees Talk (TBBT), Harpic World Toilet College, and the Harpic Safe Sanitation Programme.
According to the company, the collaborations will focus on health and hygiene education, adolescent wellbeing, sanitation, climate resilience and community engagement. Partners include UNEP India, Sesame Workshop India, Jagran Pehel, ADRA India, Amar Jyoti Foundation, MASH Project Foundation, and Forbes India (Network18). The initiatives will incorporate AI-based learning tools, climate education, digital learning models and life-skills programmes aligned with national development priorities.

Reckitt said the partnerships are designed to accelerate community-led behavioural change, strengthen school-based health education and improve sanitation and sustainability outcomes. The collaborations also support national initiatives, including Viksit Bharat 2047, Swachh Bharat Mission, Jal Jeevan Mission, the National Education Policy 2020, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
