Radisson Hotel Group, The Job Plus and THSC to Skill 3,000 Youth
Gurugram, October 19, 2026: Radisson Hotel Group, The Job Plus and the Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) have partnered under R.A.H.I. (Radisson Advancing Hope & Inclusion) to skill 3,000 young people over the next seven years. The initiative aims to improve access to formal hospitality employment for youth from underserved communities through industry-led training, certification and placement support.
The programme currently draws participants from more than 14 states and regions, including the Northeastern states, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Telangana. It particularly focuses on young people from economically disadvantaged families and first-generation entrants to the formal workforce.
Participants undergo a 45-day training programme to prepare for Guest Service Associate roles in housekeeping, food and beverage (F&B), and front office operations. The curriculum combines classroom learning, practical training, industry immersion, National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) Level 4 assessments and certification through THSC. Participants also receive placement preparation and opportunities to attend multiple job interviews.
According to the partners, around 80% of beneficiaries have secured formal employment to date. The training also opens potential career pathways in corporate hospitality, managed workspaces and facility management. The partners are working to align the curriculum with industry requirements and introduce a dedicated Radisson Connect component to familiarise participants with hotel operations, service standards and career opportunities.
