New Delhi, 09 March 2026: Olympic medallist and Padma Shri awardee PV Sindhu has been announced as the official ambassador of the EBG Foundation, marking a collaboration aimed at strengthening initiatives in child welfare, grassroots sports development and women’s economic empowerment across India.

The partnership brings together Sindhu’s global sporting influence and the Foundation’s grassroots programmes to expand community-driven initiatives and improve access to opportunities for underserved communities. Through this association, the EBG Foundation aims to scale its interventions and deepen its impact in multiple states.

The collaboration will support three key social initiatives led by the Foundation. The first programme, Children for Life, focuses on ensuring that children have access to education, healthcare and a safe environment. The initiative has begun implementation in Telangana, where it aims to create structured support systems so that financial hardship does not prevent children from accessing opportunities.

Speaking about the partnership, PV Sindhu said, “True success is meaningful only when it uplifts others. Partnering with EBG Foundation allows me to support causes that are deeply important to me, including children’s development, youth empowerment, and women’s progress. I believe real change begins when opportunity reaches those who need it most.”

The second initiative, Champion, focuses on identifying and nurturing grassroots sporting talent. The programme provides specialised coaching, quality sports equipment and structured nutritional support to young athletes, helping bridge the gap between potential and competitive performance. The initiative is currently being implemented in Telangana.

The third pillar of the Foundation’s work is Naari Shakti, launched in December 2025, which aims to support women’s economic independence. Under this programme, women receive structured financial assistance of ₹1,500 per month to pursue vocational training and develop income-generating opportunities.

Commenting on the collaboration, Dr Irfan Khan, CEO and Founder, EBG Group, said, “PV Sindhu represents discipline, resilience and excellence, values that align closely with our long-term vision. Our commitment is not only to grow in scale but to grow with responsibility. Through these initiatives, we are building sustainable ecosystems that empower children, nurture champions and enable women to lead with confidence and independence. Her association strengthens our focus on measurable social impact across the country.”

As part of the partnership, the Foundation will also release three short brand films featuring Sindhu, each highlighting a core theme of the initiatives. The films will focus on issues such as hunger affecting children’s development, the lack of opportunities in grassroots sports, and barriers that limit girls’ education and independence.

Through this collaboration, the EBG Foundation aims to expand its national outreach while strengthening programmes that address key social challenges through structured and community-focused interventions.
