PT TVS Motor Company Indonesia Becomes First Overseas TVS Plant to Earn CII GreenCo Lite Platinum Rating

Hyderabad, July 01, 2026: The CII GreenCo Council has awarded PT TVS Motor Company Indonesia the GreenCo Lite Platinum Rating, making it the first overseas manufacturing facility of TVS Motor Company to receive this recognition. The certification was conferred at the GreenCo Summit 2026, acknowledging the facility's performance in sustainable manufacturing, resource efficiency, and environmental stewardship.

The GreenCo Lite Rating System, developed by the CII GreenCo Council, is a globally benchmarked framework that evaluates manufacturing organisations across parameters including energy efficiency, water conservation, renewable energy adoption, waste management, greenhouse gas emissions, green supply chain practices, and environmental management systems. The Platinum Rating represents the highest level of achievement under this framework.

At the same summit, TVS Motor Company received the GreenCo Champion Award, while its Hosur manufacturing facility in India was awarded the GreenCo Platinum Rating — recognising the company's sustainability efforts across its domestic and international operations.
