NTT DATA and Aahwahan Foundation Upgrade Kadugodi Govt PU College into Model Institution

Bengaluru, February 27, 2026: Aahwahan Foundation, in partnership with NTT DATA, has completed the redevelopment of Kadugodi Government PU College in Bengaluru, transforming it into a model institution with upgraded infrastructure and modern facilities.

The project involved a comprehensive structural restoration of the campus. According to the release, the building, which previously had damaged interiors, unsafe classrooms and leaking ceilings, has been fully strengthened and renovated. Classrooms were rebuilt to create well-lit learning spaces, flooring was replaced for improved safety and durability, and the campus was weather-protected to prevent long-term structural damage.

Electrical systems, plumbing and essential utilities were modernised to improve reliability and hygiene standards. In addition to structural improvements, the redevelopment included the construction of a fully developed auditorium and stage to support academic and cultural activities. Administrative and faculty spaces were redesigned to create an organised academic environment, while landscaping and campus security enhancements were also undertaken.

The initiative is part of Aahwahan Foundation’s model college programme and marks its 282nd such project, according to the release. The upgraded institution is expected to benefit thousands of students from economically weaker communities each year by providing improved infrastructure and safer learning conditions.

The foundation stated that improved facilities are aimed at supporting better attendance, retention and academic performance by creating secure and functional learning spaces.
