Bengaluru, August 01, 2026: The National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) Bengaluru Chapter has announced a strategic collaboration with Mitti Café to promote inclusive employment opportunities for persons with disabilities across its member restaurants.

The partnership was unveiled during the Chapter's monthly industry meet, which brought together restaurant owners, hospitality leaders and industry stakeholders to discuss workplace inclusion, employee well-being and the evolving needs of the restaurant sector.

The initiative aims to help restaurants build more diverse and equitable workplaces by facilitating access to trained talent and encouraging inclusive hiring practices. In addition to creating employment opportunities, the collaboration seeks to improve workplace accessibility, promote equal opportunity and demonstrate the value of diversity in strengthening the hospitality workforce.

The event also featured a knowledge session on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, providing members with practical guidance on building safe, respectful and legally compliant workplaces. The session focused on the importance of robust workplace policies, employee awareness and leadership accountability.

Addressing the gathering, Sagar Daryani, President, National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI), CEO & Co-founder, Wow! Momo, said, “The restaurant industry has always been built on people and talent. As we continue to grow, it is equally important that we create opportunities for everyone to participate in that growth. Our collaboration with Mitti Café reflects the industry's commitment to making hospitality more inclusive by encouraging member restaurants to embrace diverse talent. We hope this initiative inspires more businesses to see inclusion not just as a responsibility, but as a strength that enriches workplaces and the customer experience.”

Ananth Narayan, National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) Bengaluru Chapter Head and Founder, JustBLR Group, said, "At the NRAI Bengaluru Chapter, we believe that the restaurant industry grows stronger when it creates opportunities for everyone. Our collaboration with Mitti Café is a step towards helping member restaurants build more inclusive workplaces by connecting them with talented individuals who deserve equal opportunities to contribute and succeed. We hope this initiative encourages more restaurants to embrace inclusive hiring as part of their long-term growth journey."

The programme also included the felicitation of industry leaders and members for their contributions to the restaurant sector, followed by a networking session aimed at encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing within Bengaluru's hospitality ecosystem.

Through such initiatives, the NRAI Bengaluru Chapter aims to advance responsible business practices and support a more inclusive and sustainable growth agenda for the restaurant industry.
