Nippon Paint India Unveils ‘Beyond Paint’ Sustainable Surface Engineering Portfolio at IGBC Mumbai 2025

Mumbai, December 01, 2025: Nippon Paint India, a founding member of the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), showcased its latest Sustainable Surface Engineering Solutions at IGBC Mumbai 2025, reinforcing its commitment to advancing green building practices in the country. The newly launched ‘Beyond Paint’ portfolio introduces technologies aimed at improving building efficiency, reducing energy use and enhancing overall sustainability performance.

The solutions were unveiled by Mr. Mark Titus, President – Decorative Business, Nippon Paint India, along with Mr. Shekar Reddy C., National Vice Chairman – CII IGBC. The company highlighted how advanced surface engineering can play a significant role in enabling climate-positive and future-ready infrastructure across urban India.

The key offerings in the portfolio include:

  • Cool Tec Solution: A heat-reflective coating system designed to lower surface and indoor temperatures.
  • Jiki Art: Designer-inspired finishes that combine aesthetics with durable protection.
  • N-Shield Protective Films: Smart architectural films that enhance surface longevity and simplify refurbishment.

These solutions are designed to support architects, consultants and developers in meeting sustainability benchmarks under frameworks such as IGBC, LEED and GRIHA. According to the company, the portfolio aims to extend building life cycles while improving occupant comfort and reducing environmental impact.
