New Delhi, April 29, 2026: Narayan Seva Sansthan continues to expand its work in accessible healthcare and rehabilitation, having conducted more than 4,52,569 free corrective surgeries for persons with disabilities over the past four decades.

The organisation operates a 1,100-bed hospital campus supported by a team of 125 doctors and nursing staff, performing an average of 80–90 surgeries daily at no cost. Its integrated approach combines medical treatment with rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and skill development to support long-term recovery and independence.

Among recent cases is six-year-old Sudhanshu Kumar from Sitamarhi, Bihar, born with clubfoot that affected his mobility. After undergoing multiple procedures and treatment over five months, he has begun walking independently. Similarly, Chandni, an 18-year-old from Madhubani, Bihar, who had lived with a severe disability since childhood, underwent multiple corrective surgeries and rehabilitation, enabling improved mobility and independence.

Beyond surgical interventions, the organisation provides physiotherapy services to nearly 8,000 patients every month through centres across multiple states, including Delhi, Haryana, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat.

Speaking on the organisation’s ongoing efforts, Prashant Agarwal, President, Narayan Seva Sansthan, said, “At NSS, our mission goes beyond medical treatment; we are committed to restoring dignity, independence, and hope in every life we touch. Every surgery, every rehabilitation effort, and every assistive device we provide is a step toward building a more inclusive society where no individual is limited by disability or financial constraints. As we continue to expand our reach, we remain dedicated to ensuring that quality healthcare and opportunities for empowerment are accessible to all”.

In addition to healthcare services, the organisation undertakes initiatives focused on social awareness, including campaigns on de-addiction, environmental conservation, cleanliness, and food donation. It also organises national-level sports events for persons with disabilities to promote inclusion and community participation.

Through its combined focus on treatment, rehabilitation, and social integration, Narayan Seva Sansthan continues to support individuals with disabilities in accessing healthcare and improving their quality of life.
